Vehicle Decals & Guidelines:
What You Need to Know Before You Apply

Vehicle decals are one of the most cost-effective ways to advertise your business on the move. Whether you’re branding a single van or a full fleet, decals offer high visibility with minimal investment. But before you start designing, there are a few key things to consider—from materials to DOT requirements.

Types of Vehicle Decals

Vinyl Lettering – Ideal for business names, websites, and contact info.

Logo Decals – Custom cut to showcase your brand clearly and professionally.

Full-Panel Decals – Larger, more detailed graphics for rear or side panels.

Window Graphics – Perforated vinyl allows for full-color prints without blocking visibility.

Reflective Decals – Great for nighttime visibility and compliance.

Magnetic Signs – Removable and reusable branding for flexible use.

  • Contrasting color to vehicle body
  • Should include company name, USDOT number, and other state-specific info if required
